Personal Life & Core Values

Sandra lives in Vernon, BC with her husband and two children. Family and faith are of utmost importance to her, and she carefully balances these with her professional calling. 

By nature Sandra views the world through a lens of great possibilities and finds fulfilment in journeying alongside clients, as perceived problems become opportunities for change. She considers it an honour and a privilege to help people from all backgrounds into a healthier quality of life. 

Professional History

Sandra has dedicated much of her professional life to coming alongside individuals, couples, families, and teens in difficult circumstances. In 2009 she established Lifewater Counselling, opening her doors to the local community in Vernon, and eventually further afield. She now runs a thriving community practice, and also counsels clients remotely via Skype. 

Her formal training includes: 

• An Education Degree from the University of Manitoba
• A Master of Arts, specializing in Bibilical Counselling from Providence Theological Seminary
• Further studies in Clinical Counselling attained at Athabasca University and Yorkville Universities.

She is affiliated with a number of recognised bodies, including:

• The BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC)
  (RCC #3834).
• Optum Canada and Homewood Solutions - affiliate service provider.
